Believe

Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE OF LAUNCH]

Agreement

By using believemath.com and by engaging Believe's tutoring services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Services

Believe provides private mathematics tutoring for middle school, high school, and college students. Services are provided by Sweta Mukherjee, MS Applied Mathematics. Session details, pricing, and program structure are described elsewhere on this website.

Diagnostic Sessions

New students receive a free 30-minute diagnostic session. There is no obligation to enroll in a program following the diagnostic. The purpose is mutual assessment of fit.

Payment

Session rates are published on the Pricing page. Payment is due at the end of each month via Zelle, Venmo, or bank transfer. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Refunds

If the fit isn't right after the first two paid sessions of a program, we offer a full refund for those sessions upon written request.

Conduct

We ask that students arrive prepared, complete assigned work, and engage respectfully. Parents are asked to maintain constructive communication. We reserve the right to end an engagement at any time if these standards are not met, with a refund of any unearned prepaid fees.

Recording Policy

Online sessions may be recorded only with written parent consent. Recordings, when created, are stored securely in a private Google Drive folder shared only with the enrolled family and are deleted upon request or at engagement end.

Intellectual Property

Instructional materials, worksheets, and content created by Believe remain the intellectual property of Believe. Families may use materials for personal educational use only.

Limitation of Liability

Believe provides tutoring services in good faith. We make no guarantees about specific academic outcomes, test scores, or grades. Our liability in any dispute is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding the dispute.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in Alameda County, California.
